Andi Support
How can we help?
Andi knows your family, remembers what matters, and thinks ahead. Connect your calendars, forward a school email, plan the day, or work through homework together. Here's how to get started and get more from Andi.

Need a hand with Andi? Email support@andi.ai.
Email supportTell us what you were trying to do and what happened. Your iPhone model, iOS version, and Andi version can help us investigate. Never send passwords or sign-in codes. If you include a screenshot, hide private family or child information first.
What would you like to know?
What can I ask Andi to do?
Think of the details that keep your family moving: schedules, school emails, permission slips, meals, homework, and who is picking up whom. Andi connects those details and helps you take the next step. Ask it to create or change an event, set a reminder, organize tasks, plan toward a goal, or prepare a caregiver handoff. It remembers useful family details so you can build on earlier conversations.
Try: “What do we need to get ready for tomorrow?” or “Remind me to pack the swim bag tomorrow at 7:00 AM.”
Start with one real thing you need help with. Include who it is for and any important dates or times. Andi can ask follow-up questions and help with the next step. Available actions depend on your family role, connections, and plan.
How do I connect a calendar?
Andi supports Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook connections. Open the Family tab, find Connected Apps, and choose Connect calendar (or Calendar if you already have a connection). Choose your provider, sign in to the calendar account you want to connect, and review the requested permissions. If events are missing, check that you connected the right account and selected the calendars you want to use.
- Open the event in Google Calendar or Outlook first. Confirm its date, time, account, and which calendar contains it.
- In Andi's calendar connection, check the connected account and use Choose calendars to include that calendar. Andi supports one active external provider at a time.
- If the connection needs attention, use the Reconnect action and review the provider's permissions. Otherwise, choose Sync now, let it finish, and check the event again.
- If you can see an event but can't change it, check whether that calendar is read-only or another person owns the invitation. Andi can't override the provider's editing permissions.
If it is still missing, tell support the provider, the connection status, and when you last tried syncing. You can describe the event without sharing its private title or attendees.
Can I forward school and activity emails to Andi?
Yes. Your family has its own Andi Inbox address. Forward school newsletters, sports updates, camp instructions, or a message about next week's trip. Andi can pull out the useful details and turn them into calendar events, tasks, and reminders, with a card in your conversation showing the result or next step.
- Open Family → Connected Apps → Andi Inbox and copy your family's address. Save it as a contact so forwarding is easy.
- Forward the original email, including relevant attachments, to that address.
- Check the resulting card in Andi. Answer any questions about missing details and approve proposed actions when asked.
If nothing appears, check the address, the Inbox's Last processed time, and any failed-email notice. That time shows the latest processed email; check your conversation for the result of your specific message before forwarding again. Andi sees what you forward; it doesn't get access to your whole mailbox.
What is the daily briefing?
Your day, with the important details already connected. Andi brings together upcoming plans, things to prepare, tasks that need attention, and recent updates. You can see what matters without piecing together every calendar and conversation yourself.
Your morning briefing appears in the parent's Andi conversation with the day ahead. Open Today for the current plans and heads-up items. A separate daily digest recaps activity and upcoming items. You can also ask, “Walk me through tomorrow and what we need to prepare.”
To check briefing and digest notifications, open Family → Nudges & Alerts and review Daily Digest, push notifications, and quiet hours. A quiet day may not trigger a push notification. If something is missing from the overview, check the original event or task and confirm the right calendars are connected.
How does Andi help before I ask?
Andi thinks ahead using your plans, tasks, and the details it knows about your family. Reminders help you follow through, check-ins bring you back to a plan, and Andi noticed highlights something worth your attention in Today.
Give Andi something concrete to work with: connect your calendar, share an upcoming plan, or explain a routine. You can ask, “Help me make a plan for getting everyone ready for camp next week,” then work through the tasks and reminders together.
Set your preferred check-in rhythm, nudge types, and quiet hours in Family → Nudges & Alerts. If you want a reminder at an exact time, include the date and time in your request. Proactive suggestions depend on the information Andi has and your settings.
How can Andi help with homework and learning?
Kids can work through a tricky question, practice spelling, explore a science topic, or ask for another way to explain a math problem. Andi adapts explanations to their age and helps them practice until they understand. They can type, share a clear photo of the assignment, or talk by live voice where available.
Try: “Help me understand this fraction one step at a time,” “Quiz me on these spelling words,” or “Give me another problem like this to try on my own.”
Include the actual question and what the child has tried so far. If an answer feels too difficult, ask for simpler words or a different example. Check the work against the assignment; Andi can make mistakes, just as it can in other conversations.
What else can my child do with Andi?
Ask big questions, follow an interest, invent a story, practice a skill, or talk through an everyday challenge. Andi can also help children understand their own schedule and tasks. A conversation can start with dinosaurs and become a story, or start with tomorrow's school day and become a plan for getting ready.
A parent creates or approves their access. Start together with something your child enjoys, and keep their age and profile details up to date. Andi uses age-aware instructions and content checks, with family preferences in Family Guardrails. It's an AI companion that supports learning and everyday life alongside parents, teachers, and friends.
How does Care Share work?
Care Share helps you hand over the details without starting the briefing from scratch every time. Whether grandparents are helping for the weekend or a sitter is covering an evening, Andi can prepare a care package with relevant routines, schedules, meal instructions, allergies, and contacts for you to review.
- Choose who needs care, the caregiver, and the start and end times.
- Review and adjust the care package, then approve the information you want to share.
- Send the invitation and have the caregiver sign in with the invited account and accept it.
During the care period, the caregiver can ask Andi questions such as “What's the bedtime routine?” using the information you approved. If an invitation fails, check the invited account and the share's status before sending a new one.
What can a caregiver see and do?
A caregiver gets a focused view of the approved briefing, relevant schedule, and care tasks. They can ask Andi about the handoff and help with the care tasks you've shared. This keeps the practical details close at hand while they are looking after your family.
They don't get your full family account, complete Family Memory, or a child's private chats. If a detail is missing, the parent can update the approved care package. Check that the caregiver has opened the right active share, and keep important care instructions current.
Can I update or end a Care Share?
Yes. Open the Care Share as a parent and use its options to refresh the care package, extend the care period, or revoke access. Depending on its status, you may see Extend 1 hour, Extend 1 day, Refresh care package, and Revoke care share.
Check the updated time, package, or status afterward and tell the caregiver about changed plans. Refreshing the instructions and extending access are separate actions. When a share expires or you revoke it, live access ends. Our Privacy Notice explains how long we keep past care activity.
What does Andi remember about my family?
The useful details you would otherwise explain again: routines, preferences, interests, and care instructions. Andi uses those details to make the next answer, plan, or handoff more useful. Tell it something like, “Sam prefers to do homework before dinner,” and build on that context as plans change.
Parents can review saved details in Family → Family Memory. To correct something, name the person and the change: “Sam no longer plays soccer; please update that saved preference.” Recheck the saved detail afterward.
Memory is separate from a calendar event, care package, or conversation history, so review those separately if the same detail appears there. For help removing personal information, contact privacy@andi.ai.
Can Andi read photos and documents or talk by voice?
Share a photo or document in chat and ask for what you need: explain a worksheet, summarize camp instructions, or pull out dates from a school letter. Live voice lets children ask questions and work through ideas aloud where available.
- For a photo, include the whole page in good light. For a document, name the page or passage you want help with.
- If Andi misreads a detail, provide the correction and ask it to correct the answer, event, or task.
- If voice can't hear you, check microphone permission and your audio input. You can keep going in text while checking the connection.
Andi and its service providers process voice and files to help with your request. Andi doesn't currently store raw realtime voice recordings on its own servers, though we may keep transcripts and related records. The Privacy Notice explains processing and deletion requests.
How do I check or correct something Andi has done?
Read the result in your conversation and open the event, task, or reminder. If Andi asks a follow-up question or shows an approval card, complete that step. Andi can carry out some direct requests without asking you to confirm again.
You can ask for a specific correction: “The swim lesson you just added should be Saturday at 10:00 AM.” Or edit the item yourself. After a connection error, check for an existing result before repeating the request to avoid duplicates. If Andi reports success but the item is missing, send support the approximate time, what you asked, and where you expected to see it.
How can I shape my child's experience and see how it is going?
Use Family Guardrails to set family values and preferences for handling sensitive topics. In your child's profile, Parent Visibility offers Full context, Summaries, or Safety signals only. Talk with your child about the level you choose.
Open their With Andi view to see the detail available to you. If you expected more, check the selected child, family, and visibility setting. Summaries are not word-for-word transcripts, and you'll need permission to see detailed conversations. Andi's safety rules stay in place with every setting.
What should I do if an Andi response concerns me?
Pause the interaction, check in with your child if it involves them, and email support@andi.ai with what happened. Include only the details needed to identify the response, with private information hidden. Andi can flag concerning interactions for parent review, but alerts can be mistaken, delayed, or missed.
Review any concern in Andi and follow up directly. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; Andi and the support inbox are not emergency services.
How does Andi handle my family's data?
Andi doesn't sell your personal information or use your family's schedules, messages, photos, health details, or children's conversations for advertising. We don't use your family's personal information to train general-purpose AI models for other customers. Providers process information needed to run Andi's AI, speech, hosting, and related services.
What each person can see depends on their family role and what you approve for each Care Share. Our Privacy Notice describes protections including encryption in transit and at rest, along with retention and deletion. You can review family access, disconnect services, and revoke Care Shares in Andi. For a specific data request, email privacy@andi.ai.
How do I sign in to my existing account?
Use the same sign-in method and account you used when you joined Andi. You don't need an Andi password, so there's no password to reset.
- Check the sign-in method first. Use the same Apple or Google account, email address, or phone number you originally used. If your previous method is no longer shown, contact support before creating a new account.
- If you use an email code, check spam or junk and confirm the address is spelled correctly. For a text code, check the phone number and country code.
- If the code has expired, request a new one when the sign-in screen allows it and use the most recent code. Avoid requesting several in a row.
- If you get in but your family is missing, check the account you used before creating another family. Tell support the sign-in method and the exact error if you're still stuck.
How do I join my family's Andi?
Ask the adult who manages your family's Andi account to invite you. Open the invitation and follow the steps to join. A parent or guardian approves children's access. If an invitation isn't working, try these steps.
- Open the latest invitation and sign in with the email address or phone number it was sent to. Do not use another family member's account.
- If the invitation is expired, cancelled, or already used, ask the parent who sent it to check its status and send a new invitation if needed.
- If you accepted but can't see the family, check that you are in the correct family or Care Share in Andi. For a child, the parent should also check that access has been approved.
When contacting support, describe the invitation error and whether you are joining as a parent, child, or caregiver. Don't send the invitation link or verification code.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
For a subscription purchased through the App Store, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose Andi to view the available options or cancel. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Deleting the Andi app does not cancel your subscription.
Apple's subscription instructions
- Find Andi in your iPhone's subscription list and review its status and renewal or expiry date.
- If Andi is missing, check your Apple purchase receipt to identify the Apple Account that was charged. The subscription belongs to the purchasing account.
- If there is no cancel button and an expiry date is shown, it may already be cancelled. Follow Apple's instructions to check the status rather than buying another subscription.
I already subscribed. How do I restore access?
In Andi's Family tab, find the subscription section and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure your iPhone uses the Apple Account that made the purchase and that you are signed in to the correct Andi account. If access is still missing, contact us before purchasing again.
- Check that the original subscription is active in Apple's subscription settings and that your iPhone is using the purchasing Apple Account.
- In Andi, check both your sign-in account and the selected family. Then choose Restore Purchases and wait for the result before trying again.
- If another adult pays for your family's Andi, ask them to check the family's subscription and your membership. Restoring from a different Apple Account won't locate their purchase.
Still missing access? Send us the restore message and purchase date, with sensitive receipt details hidden. We can help you check before you pay again.
How do I delete my account?
From your adult Andi account, open the Family tab, find App & Account, and choose Delete Account. Read the confirmation carefully before continuing. If you can't access your account, or need help with a child's information, contact support@andi.ai. Manage any App Store subscription separately in your Apple subscription settings. Our Privacy Notice explains how deletion and retention are handled. Deleting your login or leaving a family doesn't necessarily delete a family workspace another adult still owns.
- Decide whether you want to leave one family, delete your own login, or delete the family workspace. These have different effects; read the action's confirmation before continuing.
- Save any information you need and make sure another responsible adult has the care details they rely on.
- Manage any App Store subscription separately. Account deletion and app removal do not cancel Apple billing.
If you're unsure what will be deleted, ask privacy@andi.ai before confirming. For a request about your child's information, tell us which family you manage and what you want removed. We may need to confirm that you're authorized to make the request.
How do I report a problem or share feedback?
Email support@andi.ai with a short description of what happened, what you expected, and the steps that led to it. You can also send feature suggestions or tell us when an Andi response was unhelpful. Share only the details needed to explain the issue.
- Check your internet connection, close and reopen Andi, and check the App Store for an update. Before retrying a failed action, check whether it already created the event or task.
- Note the screen, what you tapped or asked, the expected result, and what actually happened. Include the approximate time and whether it happens every time.
- Add your iPhone model, iOS version, and Andi version. The Andi version appears in Family → App & Account. Hide names, messages, and other private information in screenshots.
For a safety concern, tell us what happened and stop any upsetting interaction while you review it.
Where can I learn about privacy and children's accounts?
Our Privacy Notice explains how Andi handles information, parent-controlled child accounts, and privacy requests. For help with your family's information, email support@andi.ai.
- For who can use a child account and what parents control, start with sections 2, 7, and 8 of the Privacy Notice.
- For AI and voice processing, providers, and sharing, see sections 3, 5, and 6.
- For access, correction, deletion, retention, and security, see sections 9–11. Send a specific privacy request to privacy@andi.ai.
